Your dress will get dirty after the ceremony when you are taking pictures, eating, dancing, drinking, and mingling. Which leads me to a change of shoes. Your wedding heels are beautiful and they will be captured in the detail shots. But, nobody will be looking at your shoes during the reception. Elegant ballet flats or even white converse are just perfect after the ceremony. Your feet will thank you.

Trust me! You do not want to be getting your hair done on your big day and someone rushes in to ask where the cake goes. This is your day and you have worked hard to make it the best day of your life. Hiring someone to make sure the day goes smoothly is worth it. 

A Quality Moment

Last, but not least, take a break for the two of you, go somewhere quiet where you can savor the moment. I have had couples who have a private dinner and other couples who do a private dance out at the legacy altar. It is so sweet to see them talking about the day and enjoying being married.
